Smoking Preference
It is important for students to honestly answer their intention to maintain a smoking habit. All residential facilities are smoke free.
Break Housing Needs
The university keeps several residential facilities open during periods when the university is otherwise closed. The purpose of maintaining these residence halls is to house students who are unable, due to distance from home or university involvement, to leave campus during break periods. Students who believe they will need break housing should check the box on the Housing Preference form. Students going through lottery should attempt to reside in a break building if they desire to request break housing in their own room. Student residing in break housing buildings are encouraged to allow peers who formally request break accomodation to reside in their space over break.
