Defensive Driving Course

Objective

Drivers of Denison University owned, leased, or rented vehicles (including golf carts) are required to successfully complete a Defensive Driving Course and pass a motor vehicle records check to ensure the safety of our students, faculy, staff, and vehicles.

 

Process

  1. To complete the Defensive Driving Course, click the link below to view the defensive driving PowerPoint presentation:

  2. After reading and completing the presentation, instructions will be available for taking the written test as well as scheduling a road test.

  3. After successful completion of the above requirements, a Defensive Driving Card will be issued, allowing the holder of this card to drive any Denison University owned/leased vehicles.

 

Please make sure to plan ahead. It will take approximately two weeks from beginning to end to complete the full defensive driving program. Road tests are given every other Tuesday evening and Friday afternoon during the academic school year.
