Protective Equipment
A football player would never enter the playing field without his pads or helmet. The likelihood of receiving injuries would increase substantially. The potential for serious injuries greatly increases if you enter the laboratory without personal protective equipment. Unlike the football player, many times students, laboratory assistants and even instructors risk injury by not wearing personal protective equipment in the laboratory.
