Claim for Special Service Mails

To file a claim for undelivered mail simply contact Mailing Services, 587-6796. Claim items with a declared value when mailed must contain proof of value (invoice, receipt, etc.).

Delivery and Collection

Delivery and collection schedules are established by Mail Services based on building locations, mail volume, vehicle patterns, and U.S. Post Office schedules. Carriers may not collect or deliver mail to any unauthorized area. Any variation must be authorized by Mail Services. Departments should provide individual bundle separations as follows:

  1. Campus
  2. To be metered
  3. Special Services

Those departments with more than one budget number should maintain separate groups of mail for each budget number.

In order for us to maintain a secure environment for your mail, we ask that you place all mail into appropriate containers and leave at officially designated pick-up areas only.

Collections of large amounts of mail or heavy packages can be arranged by calling Mailing Services at 587-6796.
