Teeny Tucker | Blues

Returning to the COTG stage for her second visit, Teeny was born into Blues royalty as the daughter of Tommy Tucker but has worked hard to develop her gifts into a uniquely compelling world-class package. As a child, Teeny sang in her Dayton church choir; her professional career began when she caught the attention of a German Blues promoter who had worked with her father. Since then, Teeny has performed at most of the major Blues Festivals in the US, as well as worldwide. She has appeared on the same bill as BB King, KoKo Taylor, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, Bobby Rush, John Mayall, and many many more. Her original compositions have earned her a place as a top-ten finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Fourth Avenue is a four man à capella group with a diverse repertoire including pop, soul, R&B, gospel, doo-wop and jazz. Since their start in 1993, they have shared the stage with such national acts as the Beach Boys, The Temptations, Styx, and Three Dog Night.   After performing full time for several years at Kings Island, the group was nominated as the 1999 Industry Entertainer of the Year. Long featured in regional ad campaigns for Safe Auto Insurance, Fourth Avenue has also won many à capella awards and has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe.
