Fourth Avenue is a four man à capella group with a diverse repertoire including pop, soul, R&B, gospel, doo-wop and jazz. Since their start in 1993, they have shared the stage with such national acts as the Beach Boys, The Temptations, Styx, and Three Dog Night.   After performing full time for several years at Kings Island, the group was nominated as the 1999 Industry Entertainer of the Year. Long featured in regional ad campaigns for Safe Auto Insurance, Fourth Avenue has also won many à capella awards and has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe. Denison Singers Reunion Concert will present mostly repertory from the group's past, with works by Haydn and Bach, folksong arrangements by Aaron Copland and Mack Wilberg, director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, concluding with madrigals by Orlando Gibbons and Thomas Morley. The repertory will also include four new pieces created especially for the occasion. Three of these have been written by members of the group: The concert will be conducted by William Osborne, emeritus Distinguished Professor Fine Arts and founding conductor of The Denison Singers.
