Bike Share

The Bike Share includes new and used mountain bikes.

Need to race to class or work? Want to enjoy a leisurely ride on theT.J. Evans Bike Trail? Members of the Denison community can now check out a bike for free!

Denison's Bike Share program is a student initiative funded by the Hunting Environmental Venture Fund, a grant program created by John R. Hunting '54 to help students implement innovative campus sustainability initiatives.

How it Works

18 bikes are housed outside the Curtis Service Center. Any member of the Denison community can come to Curtis Service Center during operating hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-9pm and Sat-Sun, 12pm-9pm) and check out a bike and helmet by signing a Release Form and Usage Policy. Bike users can keep the bike for up to a day, but must return it by 9:00pm each night. For more information, find the "DU Bike Share" group on Facebook and join the Bike Share OrgSync page!

Other bike equipment available for the bikes: bells, lights, and baskets.

Once you sign a release form and it is on record, you will not have to sign one again, making the check-out process even easier!
