Get Involved: Alumni & Friends of Denison
Go Green, Big Red!
Denison offers a rich and deep education in the natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and fine arts and extraordinary campus leadership opportunities aimed at preparing graduates who will make a difference in their communities, their country, and the world. A pioneer in the creation of an interdisciplinary curriculum in Environmental Studies, Denison is fully committed to promoting individual and institutional environmental sustainability. The college is a signatory to both the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment and The International Talloires Declaration for a Sustainable Future.
Stay Connected to our Efforts
Denison has a long tradition of being proactive and environmentally responsible. The signing of the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment in 2010, along with the formation of a Campus Sustainability Committee and the hiring of a Sustainability Coordinator have moved Denison further down the path towards environmental sustainability.
You are encouraged to follow our sustainability initiatives and engage our students, staff, and faculty as we work together to make Denison a leader among small liberal arts colleges.

Get Involved
As you are well aware, alumni and friends are vital to Denison's success as an institution of higher learning. Keeping you informed and connected is an important part of process, but it is not the only part. We encourage you to get directly involved by supporting our sustainability efforts on campus.
There are numerous ways to support Denison and our sustainability initiatives. You can choose to make a financial donation to the college:
Financial donations are always welcome at Denison; however, money alone will not make Denison sustainable. We also encourage you to support our efforts by sharing your expertise, experiences and insights as they relate to environmental and social responsibility. From guest lecturers, to internships, to insights on new technologies or best practices, many of you have resources that can help propel Denison to the forefront of campus sustainability.
Denison thanks you in advance for your continued support of the institution and our efforts to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
Please contact Jeremy King, Campus Sustainability Coordinator, should you have additional questions about Denison’s sustainability initiatives.
