Sustainability Fellows – 2012-2013

The Denison Sustainability Fellows Program trains student leaders who model and promote environmentally and socially responsible behaviors in the residence halls and other university facilities by educating their peers and getting engaged in hands-on activities that benefit the whole campus community. This new program at Denison represents a unique collaboration between The Office of Residential Education and The Office of Sustainability.

 Who are the Fellows?

  • The Denison University Sustainability Fellows are a group of 15 students who raise awareness about ecological issues and encourage environmentally and socially responsible behavior of campus residents. Fellows will develop programming and educate their peers in the residence halls about environmental and social justice issues.
  • Fellows must attend regular training and planning meetings. The purpose of these regular meetings is to introduce the monthly theme, provide an opportunity to brainstorm related activities and events, develop programming, and encourage collaboration - among Fellows and with other campus organizations.
