Choices, choices

Thursday afternoon on the Quad was hot, loud and fun. More than 100 campus organizations set up for the Involvement Fair, decked out with popcorn, balloons, frisbees, and live music.

The event was arranged for students–especially first-years–to check out a seriously long list of what Denison calls “co-curricular” activities. The opportunities range from politics, to Greek life, club sports like rugby and ultimate frisbee, a capella singing, Quidditch, volunteerism, brainy stuff like NERD (a group of science and nonscience students and professors known for having a ridiculously good time), martial arts, global issues, religious understanding, moot court, poker, sailing, and more.
