<description>Denison should feel extremely lucky to have one of its own return with such a high caliber talent as Erin Copple Smith. I am admittedly biased since Erin and I participated in many of the same activities, were roommates senior year, and remain good friends today, but anyone who has ever had the privilege to interact with Erin knows how passionate and knowledgeable she is about media studies. Indeed, when news spread that Erin would be returning to Denison as a Visiting Professor, the unanimous chorus among the alumni who know her was a sense of jealousy for the current Denisonians who get to have her as a professor. Denison should do all they can to hold on to someone who embodies so many of the characteristics that makes Denison&#039;s faculty so beloved and renowned.
