Recent graduate reports from Cairo

As tensions have escalated in Egypt, one of the correspondents on the scene has been Nicholas Lewandowski ’09. An iReporter for CNN, Nick filed this dispatch from Cairo as the situation was unfolding. CNN has posted his personal account online, in which he responds to a question asked by CNN International anchor Rosemary Church about whether the situation in Egypt might play out as recent events did in Tunisia.

An editor for Global Trade Matters, a think tank for economic policy and reform in Egypt, Lewandowski relocated overseas in the summer of 2009 following his graduation from Denison. A native of the Pittsburgh area, Nick earned his B.A. cum laude as double major in English and German.
