‘Thank you for a fabulous weekend’

Reunion Weekend 2011 is in the books. From Convocation and Alumni College to class dinners, dancing, strolling around Granville, and catching up with old friends, alums had quite an action-packed weekend (as did organizers and volunteers).

Here’s how it went, in their own words, thanks to a sampling from Twitter:

Friday:

@ioevw: Amazing stories at the 50th reunion panel!!

Friday night:

@denison06: The Class of 2006 has won the spirit award for the highest number of classmates back on campus! Woop!

@MannyHorsford: Provost Bateman just made a Lady Gaga reference at Alumni Convocation.

@MannyHorsford: Wow. It is amazing to sit among esteemed alumni of @DenisonU in the beautiful Swasey Chapel. It really is awe-inspiring!

@ASshavelyMARIE: Denison Denison Denison!!! I love our community on the hill!

@katelin: I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since I got here. Actual best day.

Saturday:

@denison06: Wow. We’re officially adults: everyone is up, dressed, and out at only 9:30. Very different than a Saturday AM back in the day!

@yelpatlanta: saw a gopher on my run this morning, a chai latte is on it’s way from river road, and it’s a GORGEOUS day. love @denisonU

@ChrisChaten: The pool is under construction. Making pretty good progress!

@katelin: Lounging out on the quad, this is the good life.

Saturday night:

@jencess: Heard on the radio, pulling away from 5yr reunion, John Mayer singing “I just can’t wait till my 10yr reunion.” So appropriate!
