Guitar heroes

Two guitar legends were on campus this weekend, spending time with students and wowing concert crowds during the 15th Annual Jazz Guitar Festival.

Julian Lage, known for his brilliant talent and wide-ranging musical interests, and Romero Lubambo, Brazilian jazz virtuoso, joined our own guitar great, Tom Carroll, in offering clinics to students and community members on Saturday afternoon.

Later that evening and then again on Sunday, the Burke Recital Hall rang with their distinctive music as the the artists clearly enjoyed working together during two performances.
