It was only a matter of time…With the Bronx Zoo Cobra, Angelina Jolie’s leg, and your grandma all on Twitter, it’s only right that our favorite Hollywood funnyman—Steve Carell ’84—has finally joined the Tweeterverse.

His first tweet was less than a week ago (“I am in.”), and he’s been relatively judicious so far—in other words, no live-tweeting while cooking dinner and nary a humblebrag. And there have been some great quips. Here’s our favorite thus far:

And that Twitter avatar. Taken from a recent GQ photo shoot, it looks like it could be a nod to the Oscar winning The Artist. But, then again, as you can see from our archival photo, a sweet ’stache is nothing new for Carell.
