And away we go …

The welcome banners are hung. The tents are up. And the catering crew is hard at work gearing up to feed the more than 1,000 people who have already started to descend on campus for Reunion Weekend 2012, which kicks off today.

Alumni (and their families) have plenty of activities to choose from this weekend, including Alumni Convocation; tours of the archives, the village, and the new natatorium; and Alumni College Classes. To top it all off, there’s always the good ol’ fashioned party on the Reese~Shackelford Common, complete with desserts, live music, and plenty of dancing.

So, to all the alumni who are headed for the Hill: Welcome home.

Follow all the fun on Twitter at #dureunion12 and check back throughout the weekend for photos on Denison’s Flickr site.
