It was ‘alright’

Twitter lit up on Friday, D-Day 2013, as the campus community gathered on the Reese~Shackelford Common to dine on hot dogs, hamburgers, pasta salad, and apple cider. Student performers—rappers, dancers, and singers—took the stage to provide the entertainment. It was all a jump-start to the evening’s main acts, rapper Hoodie Allen and indie duo Matt and Kim, who performed in the Mitchell Center to a crowd of 1,500.

We could go on and on about the good times had on D-Day, but we’ll let this photo gallery do the talking.
