Innovation

Innovation Starts Here

This year, Denison was ranked #12 in Most Innovative Liberal Arts Colleges by U.S. News & World Report. We credit our new majors and work in the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration for the honor—don't forget to check out the new Denison Edge (formerly Launch Lab) in Columbus!

Denison meets 100% of financial need

100 Percent

The Princeton Review named Denison a Top Ten College for Financial Aid. Denison currently meets the demonstrated financial need of all admitted students to meet our goal of reduced college debt. Know an awesome high school senior? Send them our way.

Vote

Got Out the Vote

Meet DU Votes — a new bipartisan voter information hub for Denison students. The campus organization founded by Jacob Rains ‘21 and Tait Ferguson ‘23 is 80 strong and worked to register students to vote and provided information in the runup to the election. They've already been awarded a grant and Washington Monthly added Denison to the 2020 Best Colleges for Student Voting Honor Roll.

Baseball

For the Love of Baseball and Community

Denison's grounds and landscape crew made a little boy's big dream come true: they built him his very own baseball field in his backyard. Andrew Codenr, who is fighting leukemia, was blown away by their kindness and we are, too!

Sustainability: Go green!

Go Big Green!

The Ohio EPA recently awarded Denison platinum-level honors for the College’s dedication to sustainability. The EPA credits solar-powered pollinator habitats, work with SMART Columbus, and community environmental stewardship activities as reasons for the honor. Denison is one of only four organizations—and the only college—to receive the recognition.
