Prof. Harris Ipock
The Singing Guitar, a recorded album featuring Harris Ipock, assistant professor of music, has been named as a finalist for the GRAMMY Award in the “Best Choral Performance” category.
Professor Ipock appears as a member of the professional vocal ensemble Conspirare with conductor Craig Hella Johnson. The recording was released on Delos Records and features works for choir and guitar ensemble by Reena Esmail, Nico Muhly, and Kile Smith. Conspirare performs with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, the Texas Guitar Quartet, and the Austin Guitar Quartet. The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be held January 31, 2022 in Los Angeles.
