Igor Lovchinsky holds degrees in both music (the Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory) and physics (Harvard) and has a career that spans both areas of study. He has performed throughout Europe and America and has published numerous articles in leading scientific journals.
Mr. Lovchinsky visited the Physics & Astronomy Department for a discussion and Q&A session with students to discuss research, graduate school, physics and music, and other topics of interest.
Our students enjoyed the opportunity to be able to meet and receive insight from Igor, and to hear about the unique career he has had.
