The library is holding our annual Food for Fines exchange.

All of the proceeds go to the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. Since the Food Pantry Network buys in bulk, they can buy much more than an individual for the same amount of money, so monetary donations are preferred. If you do wish to donate food, those in most demand are spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned fruits, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly.

The good news for you, donate $1.00 and receive $3.00 off your library fines, or bring in any non-perishable food item and received $2.00 off of your library fines. We can only accept these donations for fines, not for replacement bills. All donations should be turned in at the circulation desk in the library. When you turn in your money or items, a staff member will record it and waive the appropriate amount from your outstanding fines.

Don't owe fines? You can still donate food or money to go to the Food Pantry Network. Not sure about any fines? Ask the staff or check your record in MyCONSORT. Login using your full name and D# with the D.
