Denison University’s 183rd Commencement celebrates the achievements of the Class of 2024. The event includes keynote speaker Philip A. Glotzbach, remarks by Denison President Adam Weinberg, Priyanshi Kanoria ’24, and more!
We were delighted to host Lama Adam Berner from Columbus, OH on January 20. Lama Adam is a student and teacher of meditation and Buddhism trained in the Karma Kagyu tradition. He gave a Dharma Talk titled “Medition - Living on the Dot” in Slayter and had discussion with close to 20 students interested in Buddhist practice and teachings.
Using the foundational Buddhist meditation of shamata, or calm-abiding, Lama Adam will explore this semester on how the simplicity of a meditation session can come along with you throughout your day, positively impacting your experience and everyone around you. All are welcome to attend his sessions.
